Designed and tested by our team, the Orca San Juan fly fishing rod is both versatile and strong. This fly rod is a 4 piece, 9ft, 4wt and made from 100% carbon fiber with 0 mix of other components. Our carbon fiber is phenomenally strong thanks to the revolutionary nature of our new Silica NANO material which binds the carbon fiber to one another with a resin impregnated with silica nano spheres. This binding resin is relatively new and significantly stronger and lighter than traditional resins used to bind carbon fiber. This creates a fly rod that is sensitive and strong, great for close or long distant casts.

Before bringing this to the wild our team tested this rod on the Madison River, Provo River, Green River, Silver Creek, and several high-altitude small streams and lakes.
